We’ve all, at some time, fantasized about ruling the world. In my vision, I see myself as a kind but firm leader. Yet, I acknowledge that ascending to such a position would probably necessitate the use of military power, which doesn’t align with my principles. Nonetheless, out of curiosity, I’ve explored the military capabilities of various countries and identified the top 10 nations that would be the toughest to invade. Here’s the list, presented without any specific ranking!
Switzerland
Switzerland’s defense against potential invasions is supported by two key advantages. Firstly, their historical track record of neutrality, including during both World Wars, makes them an unlikely target for invasion. This longstanding neutrality means they are not typically aligned with any military powers, and an attack on Switzerland could prompt international intervention in their defense.
Secondly, Switzerland has a unique system where every male citizen undergoes basic military training and retains their firearm afterwards. Despite having a relatively small standing army, especially in comparison to other nations on the list, this practice enables Switzerland to rapidly assemble a substantial fighting force if needed.
